Dr. Muoka O. Michael MBBS, MPH (UK) is a Public Health Specialist with keen interest in health research, health policy and healthcare management as well as community development. He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2015. He also has a Master of Public Health degree from Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK where he received two awards for having the Best Postgraduate Performance in the Department of Public Health and Wellbeing, and the best Postgraduate Performance on an Allied Health Programme. He has been involved in many research projects that have been published in both local and international peer reviewed journals including his work on ‘The Health Effects of Precarious Employment on UK Immigrants’ that was selected for presentation at the European Public Health Conference in 2019.
