Dr. Thelma. A. O MBBS, MPH (UK), MSc HM (UK), BCMAS (US) is a Humanitarian and Public Health Physician that specializes in preventive medicine. She is also trained in Health Management and Strategic Leadership with a firm bias in Health System Strengthening and development. She obtained her Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery in the year 2007 from the University of Jos and she has a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Management from the University of Sheffield, UK. She is also a Board Certified Medical affairs specialist. She is currently the Director of Hospital Management at Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre (ZMKC) which is one of the leading renal care centres in sub-Saharan Africa and prospectively, Africa. She is a Health Management and Advocacy Consultant, an Individual and Team Capacity Developer (discover, harness and enable talents and capabilities) and the founder of Zenith Health Care Access Initiative (ZHCAI), a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on affordable, accessible and available healthcare for individuals with non-communicable disease, especially Chronic Kidney Disease. She has been married since 2006 and has three lovely children who have inspired her in many ways to do what she does.
